Real Life Story with the Time Timer: This was a life saver for baths when my daughter went through a splashing phase as a toddler.  She LOVED the tub.  We explained to her that she could have a large amount of time- I think it was around 20 minutes in the tub if she played nicely, but if she splashed, the tub was over right then. The time timer allowed us to show her how much time she could stay in the tub.  We intentionally made it longer than her normal bath.  Through out the first bath using this method, we chit chatted about how she was playing so nice and following the bath rules, so she was getting so much time in the tub (pointing to the red dial on the clock that displayed the remaining time). As the time passed, we made mention to how much time was left, gradually preparing her for when it was time to get out of the tub. It was a game changer!

A visual timer like this one is awesome. Children can easily see the amount of time decreasing. Over the years, I have found so many ways to use the our Time Timer with my kiddos. (And, I have recommended it to so many of my friends to help with an array of parenting situations!)
